We reported a few days ago that Huawei no longer had the right to pre-install Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram on its smartphones.

Mark Zuckerberg’s firm said it follows the US guidelines and despite the Chinese manufacturer’s 90-day reprieve, has decided to end its collaboration with Huawei right now.

Huawei reassures its users: You can download, install and use Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram normally.

Some users were worried about not being able to use the applications of the Facebook ecosystem on their Huawei or Honor mobile. As we told you last week, it is not the case and the manufacturer wanted to clarify the situation to reassure its customers. “All Huawei smartphones and tablets already sold or those available for sale will be able to use and download these applications normally,” it says.

In short, if you are in possession of a device Huawei or Honor, the decision of Facebook has no impact on you, there is no particular manipulation to achieve and the services are available exactly as before. And if you plan to buy a smartphone or tablet brand, it is possible that Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram are not installed by default. But that’s not a problem: you can download and install them yourself through the Google Play Store or by retrieving the app APK through a site like APK Mirror.
